I explored Ning.com. I could not find how to explore the site without joining. It did have a free trial, but that lead to giving a credit card number which I was not comfortable doing. So I just explored the groups listed on the #6 Thing. I ended up joining the group Classroom 2.0. I am waiting for approval. I mainly joined it because it leads to a group discussing using Google Apps in the classroom. I am looking forward to finding out more about this.

Okay, I am finally sitting down and working on my 11 things!! I realize I had already done this a long time ago, but needed to refresh my memory. Today, I read fellow blogger's comments on Google Reader and added a feed from a fellow educator's blog. After at least an hour I am slowly beginning to grasp the possibilities of this feature! My goal is to come back to my blog and read comments and add my own comments at least once a week until I get the hang of this!
